Paying for Meals of Client Spouses?
We are looking for benchmark information regarding paying for client/vendor's spouse entertainment - any reports or articles out there that mention this? What are other companies' policy in allowing for hospitality for spouses/significant others, specifically meals? So, if there is an event, dinner, or conference that a company sponsors and the invited client brings their spouse/significant other, would that company pay for any meals/entertainment for the spouse/significant other that are associated with that event?
