NAVEX Exchange taps executives’ preference for on-demand peer-to-peer networking and learning.
PORTLAND, Ore.-- Ethics and compliance solution provider NAVEX Global™ today launched NAVEX Exchange, a complimentary online video training tool designed exclusively for senior executives, the C-suite and boards of directors.
Ethics and compliance training programs are typically designed for employees and often do not address the issues and the special responsibilities that high-level executives in an organization face daily. Executives pose the highest risk potential should they abuse their influence in the company or should they fail to spot and respond to ethical lapses.
“Executives and board members are often reticent to take training because they believe it does not relate to their roles and compliance responsibilities. The origin of NAVEX Exchange was our realization – based on discussions with C-suite executives, board members and other executives – that they need to deal with ethics and compliance issues in a peer-to-peer learning format,” said Shanti Atkins, president and chief strategy officer of NAVEX Global. “With trust in leadership at an all-time low and global regulatory and legal pressures continually increasing, it has never been more important for organizations to invest in education for their top executives to protect both their organizations and stakeholders.”
NAVEX Exchange covers a full modular curriculum of ethics and compliance topics, including combating global corruption, data privacy challenges and the role of the Code of Conduct. Each video features five to 10 different industry experts, including senior legal and compliance officers, from leading global organizations across various industries. In each vignette, Fortune 500 company executives provide peer-level testimonials about the compliance issues they face and best practices to address them. The videos focus on approachable, objective and proven methods seasoned executives have successfully applied to manage and mitigate risk, and to build better workplace cultures.
“Compliance officers today face a mounting crush of compliance obligations. The chief compliance officer (CCO) knows that senior leaders and members of the Board have unique compliance learning needs but have long assumed that this kind of training must be highly customized to be effective; until now, the CCO has been unable to effectively meet this challenge due to time and budgetary restraints, and lack of suitable training options,” said Ingrid Fredeen, vice president of advisory services, NAVEX Global. “NAVEX Exchange changes the game for the CCO. This on-demand training tool puts key leaders in control of accessing ethics and compliance information they need, when they need it, from highly respected experts.”
The NAVEX Exchange video series is hosted on a secure, password protected website and is mobile-friendly, ensuring anywhere, anytime access to qualified NAVEX Global clients and their senior leaders and executives. Each video includes links to other valuable assets and information so executives can take a deeper dive into a particular topic area. Videos will continually be added to the robust ethics and compliance library, with additional topics scheduled throughout 2014. A demonstration of the NAVEX Exchange series is available at https://www.navexglobal.com/navex-exchange.
