Position Summary:
The Telecom Provisioning Engineer is part of our Telecom team that is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and maintenance of NAVEX Global’s customer telephony solutions. Specifically, this position is responsible for the configuration and set-up of new customer telephony programs, maintaining and updating existing telephony programs, researching and analyzing program routing plans, and working directly with our vendors. The ideal candidate has high attention to detail and is a problem-solver.

What You Will Do:
Provide testing services for domestic and international telephony architecture to validate connectivity and performance for inbound services
Validate calling plans have correct terminations and have been properly set up in appropriate program setups to direct to correct programs
Develop submission mechanisms to identify testing requirements to various vendors and internal resources
Develop and maintain reporting structures for communicating test results to internal and external customers
Submit remediation plans to necessary internal and external resources to resolve failures identified in the testing protocols
Track and maintain open issues through resolution
Update internal databases to reflect “learning” opportunities identified as a result of testing operations
Work with other members of the Telecom group to maintain best-of-class telephony offerings for each operational country where NAVEX Global telephony services are provided
Implement and maintain service level agreements (SLA) for testing services and ensure adherence to the published timelines
Coordinate and maintain corporate testing of lines within specific countries deemed at risk for line loss due to non-usage
Implement continuous improvements through the incorporation of best practices
Participate in other special projects, IT projects, or responsibilities as assigned
What You Will Need:
2 years customer service experience
1+ years of experience in telephony administration
A demonstrated ability to manage non-technical telephony investigations and solutions
A demonstrated ability to identify problems and provide timely and efficient solutions
A demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload
High level of attention to detail, excellent follow through skills, and reliability
Ability to manage service level agreements and maintain established corporate/departmental objectives
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office
A demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and execute efficiently
The ability to implement telecom solutions via established vendor products
The ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
A demonstrated ability to work with customers to gather requirements and translate business needs into technology solutions
The ability to manage conflict effectively and provide strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to collaborate with people
Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
A commitment to do the right things right
