The Sr. Content Marketing Manager oversees marketing content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to drive retention, leads and ultimately, sales for our fully integrated platform of risk and compliance solutions.
We are looking for an individual that is experienced in all things related to content, media channel optimization, brand consistency and meaningful measurement. In partnership with, and under the direction of the Sr. Director of Corporate Marketing, you will collaborate with Product Marketing, Solutions Consultants, Corporate Marketing and our Demand Generation teams to ensure a consistent voice across our organizational materials, website and lead generating assets. You will need to think like a publisher or journalist and lead the development of our content initiatives to drive engagement.

What You Will Do:
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social, media, email, mobile and video
Work with marketing leadership to map out a content strategy that supports demand generation initiatives, determining which methods and channels work for the brand and why
Own our corporate blog (Compliance Matters) as both Editor and Publisher
Work with Product Marketing to lead the creation of product collateral to ensure it is up-to-date, consistent and best demonstrates our products and services
Manage the content calendar that provides appropriate coverage to product areas and topical focus areas
Own best practices in grammar, messaging, writing and style. Perform or manage proofreading process for marketing assets
In partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager, conduct ongoing testing to gauge online content effectiveness and make recommendations based on those results
Manage workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing and retiring content
Work with web team to ensure that the content is distributed through the correct channels
Lead, mentor and develop a small team of at least one direct report
What You Will Need:
A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
6+ years of experience as a leader in multichannel content creation
Experience with creating compelling messages for both technical and non-technical audiences about technology benefits
Expertise in all major business software applications (Microsoft Office, Airtable, etc.)
Proven editorial skills with an outstanding command of the English (or primary customer) language
Training in how to tell a story using words, images or audio, and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience, bringing in an outsider’s perspective
Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines working with senior leaders and subject matter experts
Basic technical understanding of HTML and web publishing applications
Experience maintaining content management systems and corporate intranets a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skill and a commitment to engage and collaborate with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
