Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals. As an engaged and motivated leader, you will help build and develop the team supervising the day to day business to create a successful and positive culture noted by exceptional individual and team performance and high morale. You will be responsible for managing our outbound call strategy, utilizing best practices for lead development and pre-sales, to include: email, phone and chat using sales enablement tools to connect with new prospects and current customers.

What You Will Do:
- Coach and motivate the business development team to exceed monthly goals
- Recruit and train a group of approximately 5 Sales Development Representatives
- Oversee execution of our outbound contact strategy
- Closely manage lead and opportunity pipelines in Salesforce
- Conduct weekly 1:1’s with each member of your team to cover performance and outline areas of improvement
- Daily call monitoring and coaching sessions with sales development representatives
- Work closely with marketing to maintain an in depth understanding of all marketing campaigns and channels leveraged to generate leads
- Provide weekly team performance updates to senior management
- Record all activities and ensure efficient use of Salesforce
- Propose, demonstrate and prove new best practices, pushing our team to greater impact
- Acquire in depth knowledge of our full range of services and convey that knowledge to potential clients, adhering to company messaging and positioning
- Cold call, engage with and develop prospects to be closed by Sales team in an effort to supplement your team’s outbound prospecting
- Partner with VP of Sales to hit pipeline goals
What You Will Need:
- 1+ years experience as a Sales Development Manager/Business Development Manager role managing a team of Sales Development Reps/Business Development Reps
- 3+ years experience as an individual contributor in an inside sales role
- Superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong Salesforce knowledge/experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- A proven record of establishing and exceeding measurable goals
- Previous sales, telemarketing, or lead generation experience
- The temperament of a self-starter that is highly motivated and self-driven
