Exporting isn’t as simple as sending a product overseas. Employees involved with the export process must navigate a maze of acronyms, government agencies and regulations.

NAVEX Global’s U.S. Export Regulation – Basic course provides employees with foundational knowledge they need to export with more confidence and to ask the right questions at the right time. Employees will learn key export terms, such as: USML, ITAR, Commerce Control List and EAR. In addition, employees will learn categories of licensing and different types of exports, including deemed exports and reexports. Learners will also be introduced to classification and screening basics, including four key questions to ask in any export transaction.

Failing to follow proper export procedures can cost an organization time and money and, in some cases, result in serious legal consequences. Navigating the export maze requires good directions. U.S. Export Regulation – Basic provides powerful tools to start the journey. Advanced version also available.
