Whistleblowing in France: The EU Directive and Sapin II
The EU member states, including France, have until December 17, 2021, to transpose the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive into national law. France, unlike many of its European counterparts, already has established whistleblowing laws in place under Loi Sapin II, which will need to be updated to reflect the new Directive.
